Do I need a passport?If you are a US citizen visiting the US Virgin Islands, no, you do not need a passport. However, if your itinerary includes the British Virgin Islands, you will need a passport.

What is the currency and what about credit cards?In both the USVI and BVI, the currency is the US dollar. ATMs are abundant in the more populated areas, but not so much in out of the way paces, so plan accordingly. Credit cards are widely accepted, however, you will find a few merchants that take cash only.

Are hair dryers supplied?Yes, each private bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer.

If I want to snorkel, do I have to bring my own gear?No, Serenity has snorkeling gear for every guest (mask, fins, and snorkel). However, if you prefer to bring your own gear, your are welcome to do so.

Are there showers?Yes, each cabin has a private ensuite bathroom that includes a shower, sink, and electric flush toilet. Serenity also has an outdoor shower on the stern to rinse off after a swim.

Do I have to bring towels?No, high quality towels for showering as well as beach towels are provided.

What kind of sunscreen should I bring?While the SPF level of protection is up to you, in the USVI, it is against the law to use use anything other than "reef safe" sunscreen. While it will generally be labeled as reef safe, it should not contain oxybenzone or octinoxate, as these are harmful to coral.

Is there WiFi on Serenity?Yes, Serenity has WiFi powered by Starlink

Is there air conditioning?Yes, Serenity has A/C throughout including separate climate controls in each stateroom.

Can I connect to Serenity's music system?Yes, you can connect to the music system via bluetooth. The music should be stored on the device you are connecting and not reliant on being online as the internet connection could be spotty.

Is there a washing machine and dryer on board?No. If you think you will have clothes washing needs, please let us know and we will arrange for that in your itinerary.

Can we fish?Yes. We have light fishing tackle aboard for your use.

What about dietary restrictions?A few weeks before your charter, we will send you a preferences form. From this, we will create your personalized itinerary as well as a menu based on your food preferences and restrictions.

Gratuity?The gratuity is not included in your charter fee and is typically 15-20% of the charter fee based on level of service.

What is Serenity's cruising area?November through July, we are in the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. August through October, we are in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

What should I pack?The lighter the better. Most people find that they have packed much more than they need. Also, if possible, please use only soft luggage. Here is a suggested list of items you will need: What to bring: Passport Cash, credit cards and an ATM card Swimwear & cover-ups Sunhat or visor Sunglasses Sandals/flip-flops Athletic shoes or trainers for active days ashore Casual/comfortable, quick-drying clothes (shorts, t-shirts) Rash guard shirt (UV protection while in the water) One or two outfits for a nice dinner ashore (ladies: casual dress or shorts and blouse and men: collared shirt and shorts) Lightweight waterproof jacket (most often used as a windbreaker) Personal toiletries and medications Reef-safe sunscreen (non-oily, tinted or sprays) and after-sun creams You might also consider: Splash proof containers for phones Beach bag or "dry bag" bag Camera (and battery chargers) Spare batteries Kindle, iPad, magazines or books Snorkeling gear (if you prefer to use your own) Binoculars Lip balm Contact lens solution (for those using contact lenses) Hair ties (for those with long hair) What not to bring Hard-sided suitcases More than what you need- space is at a premium onboard and in your cabin
